The Weekend

So, apparently, if I want to get paid I actually have to work. (I know! How unreasonable!)

And since I'm...oh...about 5 hours behind in data entry, I'm going for the easy blog entry today. Notice I'm still "blog first - work second". Priorities.

Here are some pictures from our weekend.

This first one is of Brenna and Daniel, right after she got off the bus on the last day of school. He was so excited to see her.

On Saturday, Brenna received this beautiful bouquet of flowers from my Aunt Suz. There's a Congratulations balloon attached. Such a special gift to a honor a completed year of kindergarten!



This is Daniel in his fancy new clothes. Kristin and Stephen (my brother and sister-in-law) gave him this outfit for his birthday. (Along with a pink polo too!) You can't tell from the picture, but, along with the name brand polo shirt, he's wearing blue pin striped pants with sailboats on them.
He's so ready for New England.


And this is what Brenna's bed looked like while she was gone for the weekend.


Here is the bookshelf just before it moved from Brenna's room to Daniel's old room. The kids are now sharing a room and, so far, so good. We'll see how long that lasts.

The rooms are nearly put back together. We still have some closet sorting to do and pictures to hang. Plus there are a few larger toys that haven't found a resting place yet. Still, I think we did pretty well on our grand realignment of bedroom space.

When, and if, I finish working today, I'll run up and take pictures of the newly arranged bedrooms. In the meantime...I'll be running Excel.
