Real Progress

I am proud to announce that my mother has finally, after much nagging and pestering on my part, though in the end not as a result of any nagging and pestering on my part, ditched her dial up internet service. I thought this day would never come. It's not as if she doesn't understand computers or use the internet much. She is the Vice President of Human Resources for a big company and carries a Blackberry. I'm not sure what the hold up was exactly. But it matters not. For as of today, she has entered the world of the cable modem. And I dare say she'll never turn back.
