The Sweetest Privilege

Michael and I just had the sweetest privilege to lead Brenna in a prayer to accept Jesus in her heart. I'm certain she understands precisely what it means and she is overflowing with four-year-old-joy. What a precious honor! There is great rejoicing in Heaven tonight!!!

John 3:16
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I John 1:8-9
8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! We are so excited. Can't help but think of the verse in 3 John 1-4, I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in truth.
