The writing on the bag says "Carrie's 1st haircut, courtesy of Daniel. 5/10/11"I heard the two of them on the steps and I heard Daniel say "Carrie, you look so pretty!" I probably smiled. Then I heard him say, "Mommy, I cut Carrie's hair so she'd be pretty. Doesn't she look so pretty?"
He was so proud of himself. He'd found a pair of infant nail scissors in the basket under her changing table and fixed his little sister up all pretty. Luckily he didn't decide she needed bangs. It's a section off the back and since he left about 2 inches, it does blend in with the rest of the hair most of the time.
(sigh)
