Picture Day was last week and after trying on no less than 15 different outfits, we narrowed it down to 14. Seriously, it was not easy. So we called in backup - Daddy. In a wee short time he had us down to a choice between two shirts. One a light peach and one a darker purple. Since the peach one is still a tad big, we went with the long sleeved purple one.
This is the 7AM shot on the front porch - trying hard to look awake and not cold.
Here's hoping we get a good school picture with both eyes open, teeth showing, hair in place, bobby pins hidden, chin not too far up and not too far down, and a background that doesn't clash with the shirt. That might just be too much to ask.

I take enough pictures throughout the year that I just call school pictures a "crapshoot" :D Not in front of the kids of course, but it's really what they are. You never know what you're going to get and I hear that the older they are the longer they have to wait. I can imagine that starting next year the pictures will be "post recess." Oy! :D She looks beautiful btw.
