It's Transplant Day!

My uncle Randy is at the Cleveland Clinic today receiving a kidney transplant! The full story of all that's happened in the last year is absolutely amazing. From the first time we heard that his kidneys were approaching dangerous levels of malfunction to the moment the transplant was scheduled, God has been faithful. It hasn't been an easy walk, but looking back, I think it's clear as day that his every need was anticipated and provided for.

Randy and his family are part of a very special church in Ohio. One that seems to really get Jesus' teaching on love. John 13:34-35 - "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." The stories just keep coming, from all the people who called Cleveland Clinic to be tested as a match to the littlest kids who are praying for him in Sunday School. Maybe some day there will be time for me to sit with their family and record all the stories from this past year.

In the meantime, if you're reading this post over the next month or two please pray for Randy and his family. They have much ahead of them.

Sure do appreciate all you are sharing about Randy. It is amazing how God has worked through Randy and his family to reach other families. God is in control. We have felt it so strongly through the past couple days. Praise God !
