Yesterday Daniel and I made plans to meet my mom for lunch. He couldn't wait till it was time to go and kept following me around the house. I stepped into my bathroom to put on a little make up and he climbed up on top the toilet to watch.
"What are you doing, Mom-mom?"
(Mom-Mom is this annoying new thing. Brenna was calling him Dan-Dan and she started calling Michael Dad-Dad. We thought we had that all stopped, when Daniel started with 'Mom-mom'.)
"Putting on make up."
"Why?"
"So I won't look so tired."
"Oh"
Then as I leaned around him to set the powder back in the bag, he reached up and put his hands on my cheeks. He took a good look at my face and said, "You look much better, Mommy!"
