Secret Project

I'm working on a secret project for my kids. I hope to have it finished by tonight. My kids are too young to read my blog, so technically I could just tell you what it is...but it's more fun if I don't.
he he he.

My secret project involved a trip to Jo-Ann Fabrics yesterday. (which, by the way, I'm reluctantly giving up on them. The last 53 times I've been there they haven't had what I needed. It's either out of stock or they don't carry it. Good thing Hancock Fabrics is located just across the street! - Sorry Randy.)

My secret project needs a tension rod. (still have to get this)

My secret project gave me reason to learn how to sew on bias tape. (even if it was the wrong size...due to Jo-Ann's inadequate stock)

My secret project has a big hole in it!

My secret project is going to give the kids a place to share their imaginations.

Leave your guesses in the comments!

Sounds like a puppet stage in the making, to me. :)

Puppets can be made from paper bags, old mittens, gloves and socks. Another way for the kids to use their imagination!
