7 Minute Post

I've got 7 minutes till the potatoes are done. Michael's grilling chicken because it's about 75 degrees outside. Our weather is crazy like that. Snow one day. Hot the next. I've got the windows open and fans blowing.

We are a mile deep in Christmas preparations. I've got a list of things to do with M (Michael) or J (Julie) or E (either) beside each one. They are slowly getting crossed off. We are enjoying our fewer-commitments Christmas season. It helps so much to only do what we really want to do. We've been home to enjoy our own tree this year!

The kids and Michael all have bad colds, though Brenna and Daniel are at the end and Michael's just beginning. Daniel's nearly developed into an ear infection, but Dr. M and Ukrops came to the rescue with bubble gum flavored meds.

I spent today shopping online for a bunch of things. I think we're nearing the end of the major purchases and just need to find fun things for the stockings. (As opposed to the endless piles of trial sizes that I usually fill them with. I think we have enough trial sized toothpaste to last us for a good many trips.)

The potatoes are done. I gotta go set the table. Maybe there will be time for a more thought-filled post tonight or tomorrow!
