Birthday Highlights

Brenna officially turned 5 in Grandma and Papa's driveway. 2:32 PM. We had just returned from the zoo and were dropping off my aunt when the clock hit 2:31. So we waited and then sang to her right there. She was beaming.

Oh what a birthday it has been. She got to see Aunt Becca and Uncle Chris, who live in South Carolina. Her great-grandparents and great-aunt have been here all week from Ohio.
She got to celebrate on Sunday and then again on Tuesday night and of course on Wednesday too.

On Sunday she received her official invitation to Disney World from Grandma and Papa.

Everyone had plans for Wednesday night this week, so we had her birthday dinner on Tuesday night.



On the evening before Brenna was born, my parents and extended family went to Bruster's for ice cream. It has since become a tradition and we go every year.
(Daniel has one too. We'll be ordering Papa John's pizza on the night before his birthday every year.) So Tuesday we had dinner and cake, then went and stuffed ice cream in as well. Most of us had to be rolled to our cars. : )
