Netflix: As many movies as you can watch and send back in a month for only $9.99. We started Netflix in June after Daniel was born. It was actually Michael's Father's Day present from the kids. We watched a ton of movies over the summer while trying to stay up for Daniel's late-night feedings. Generally we get about two movies a week. The shipping costs are in your membership fee and you just put the movie in your mailbox when you're done. We have a warehouse in Richmond so our movies usually arrive the day after they are mailed. They have hundreds of thousands of movies to choose from as well. You can get concerts and tv series DVDs too. Brenna and I have been working our way through 9 seasons of Little House on the Prairie. In my opinion, the best part of Netflix is getting new releases on the day they come out. We have watched several movies this way, including the latest - Cars, and it really beats going to the movie theater. We save so much money this way and still get to the see the movie! There is one thing you need to know before you sign up for Netflix, though. We have had trouble with some DVDs sticking and not playing well. There are instructions on the website for cleaning the disk if it does this and if that doesn't work, you can send it back and they will send you a different disk. Everything is easily taken care of on their website and you aren't charged for the problem. We have found their customer service to be excellent. They even returned a golf DVD that Michael accidentally returned in a Netflix envelope. We've been so pleased with the service that we even gave my dad a Netflix gift certificate. (Incidentally, if he doesn't use the gift, they will add it on to out account after a year...that way you don't lose the gift! That's awesome!) Here's a list of some of the best movies we've watched via Netflix:
Cars
Dances With Wolves
Glory Road
Hotel Rwanda
The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
Madea's Family Reunion
March of the Penguins
Ray
Stand and Deliver
