1- Congratulations to Ohio University on their first bowl appearance in nearly forty years! They will play in the GMAC bowl on January 7 in Alabama. Go Bobcats!
2- Though I am not surprised, I was embarrassed to read about the exchange between Senator-elect Webb and President Bush at a recent White House reception. Differing opinions do not justify rudeness. It would not have compromised Webb's potential in the Senate to be polite at the reception. If he did not want to talk to or be seen with the President, then he should not have accepted an invitation to a party at the President's home.
3- And it looks like a little bit of good news coming out of Columbiana, Ohio. What? A housing boom? And commercial growth? Check it out.
