It seemed appropriate that the next post be about giving the quilt away, but I have just not been able to find the time to get the pictures uploaded, much less added to the blog. I don't know what happens sometimes. It feels like I just spin in circles. I think I'm so busy, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to show for it.
Except for a happy baby. I can usually point to that. I don't know what else I've done today, but the baby's happy. lol.
Anyway, Nana and Pap came for a visit last weekend and Brenna was able to give her the quilt she'd made. Tears and smiles aplenty.
I had printed the blog post to include, but Nana was having trouble seeing it, so Brenna read it to her.
I just love this picture.
Turns out we weren't the only ones with a secret gift. Nana had one to give too.
She brought Carrie a "Nana-Blanket"! Brenna and Daniel each have a quilt that Nana made them. They call them their "Nana-Blankets". I've been teasing that if Nana didn't make Carrie one soon, I was going to have to buy a blanket and just call it her Nana-Blanket. She'd be asking me why the other two have one and she doesn't. But no more.
Isn't it beautiful??!!
It's backed with a pretty pink and bound with soft green. Carrie is already sleeping with it and building the attachment to her Nana-Blanket!
