Warning: This post is a tad gross.
There's a glass walkway three stories high where I work. A few weeks ago, just days after it had been professionally cleaned, it looked like this:
Apparently, there are quite a few kamikaze pigeons in the area. They flew into the walkway so hard, they left the dust from their bodies on the glass. The day before I took these pictures, my co-worker counted over 20 imprints. None of them cracked the glass, but several did lose their life. The rest just dropped to the pavement severely dazed.
What was so captivating and stunning (oops, was that a pun?) about the scene was that you could literally see the wingspan of the birds left on the glass. Not only that, but on some of them, even from 3 floors down, you could see eye and beak marks!
