My brother-in-law clued us in to a few good laughs while he was here last week. Several years ago a church in North Carolina took on the topic of preconceived notions about Jesus. In taking a deeper look at the life of Christ, they addressed the ideas and stereotypes non-Christians often have. These misconceptions have been perpetuated in many different ways, including bad Sunday School teachings and certain religious programming.
The following are four satirical views of how some people see Jesus. The creators used old, classic Jesus movies and voice-overs to create an over-the-top, witty visual for their congregation. They are quite funny - and of course, thought provoking at the same time.
