It's Just a Tail

I hesitate to share this story here, but it's so funny, I can't resist.

A little over a week ago the kids were getting baths and it became evident to me that I needed to have a little talk with Brenna (5) about the difference between boys and girls. Michael took Daniel (19 mo.) out to get him dressed and I asked Brenna if she'd noticed that her body was a little different than Daniel's. First she said no, but when I asked again, here's what she said:

"Oh Mommy! That's just his tail. It'll fall off soon. I had one when I was a little baby and mine fell off, too."

So much for a keeping a straight face....
